Friday night when daddy got home from work, he and Paxton went outside to play!! Paxton just loves playing with his daddy!! They gathered leaves up and had a blast with them!
Paxton had a wagon full of leaves!
Getting ready to attack daddy!
Throw!!
I adore this sweet little smile!
Leaf fight!

And after he was finished playing with the leaves, he found a stick! This child is always finding sticks!
Showing his stick to daddy {and daddy is attacking him with leaves!}
He sees something…
It’s birds!!
We’re so blessed!
We had a low key Halloween! We had no parties, didn’t go trick or treating, we just hung out at home! Paxton did wear his new bumGenius 4.0 in Sassy! It’s a nice orange color, not quite a pumpkin color {or UT orange!} but it’s a beautiful color!
Our happy boy!!
Paxton did some dancing…this boy has moves!!
And we attempted to take pictures with his pumpkin but that didn’t go so well!!
He did have fun with his pumpkin!
He carried it all around and dropped it several times…thankfully not on his toes!
More heavy lifting!
And a close up of his sweet little tongue!
Last week while looking for a carving pumpkin, we decided to get Paxton a pumpkin to color on! Since he loves to color, we figured this would be so much fun for him. We stripped him down to his diaper, put him in the high chair and he was patiently waiting his pumpkin and colors!
His very own pumpkin to color {or cu-cu as he says!!}
He’s just a bit excited…about the colors!
Here he goes!
{So, we didn’t have any finger paint and figured markers would work pretty well. Unfortunately, we were wrong! The markers did color on the pumpkin but it didn’t really stay so it was a wet, smeary mess. But, the important thing is our little guy had a ton of fun! And we’re totally buying finger paints for next year!}

Paxton hasn’t had much experience with markers, he tried to taste the red one…looks like he’s wearing lipstick!
He really did a good job coloring the pumpkin!
And checking out the markers…and writing on himself!

How he managed this, not quite sure!
Sweet chubby toddler hands coloring!
The finished product! Looks pretty good considering it was done by an 18 month old and the colors were smearing!
As soon as we finished, Paxton was given a bath where 95% of the marker came off {there was a little on his hands for a day or so} and the pumpkin was promptly washed of all the marker-y mess!
Even though it was messy, it was still a blast for him to color with markers on the pumpkin and we sure enjoyed watching him! Next year, though, finger paints!!
Last week when I put Paxton in wool for the first time, I decided to snap some pictures. He wouldn’t stay still for a ‘normal’ shot but I ended up getting some quite humorous shots of him entertaining us!
{And unfortunately, the wool is not helping our super soaker! I’ve been on a quest for the perfect nighttime diaper for months…}

Watching a little TV and doing some dancing.
Sweet boy making music for mama and daddy!
His xylophone is one of his favorite toys! He plays with it everyday! {And I enjoy playing with it too!!}

He has his own key chain with some real keys and one of the key chains is a mini guitar that he loves. Here he is pretending to play!

And here he’s really getting into it!! Love this shot!!
Seriously, having an 18 month old is so much fun!!
Life with children is never dull! It’s getting more and more exciting around here as Paxton grows and develops quite the personality! Friday night after he got dinner all over his clothes, I stripped him down to his diaper. Then he wanted his boots, so I put them on him and I thought it was a little chilly to be running around only in a diaper and shoes so I put his jammie shirt on him. The result…cuteness!!

One stylish little man! And look at that smile!
He was quite intrigued by the camera! {He’s got his daddy’s eyes and I love it!!}
One handsome, handsome little man!
