One Precious Child

Paxton loves lots of things: guitars, music, shoes, boots, daddy and outside! Once he had his boots on, he was ready to go ‘side!

I thought he was too cute to not take a few minutes and snap a few pictures of this adorable little man! This is right before he realized I had a camera in hand.

He sees the camera and is now putting on a show! Oh my sweetness, could he be any cuter?!

I am one blessed mama! One really blessed mama…he’s coming after me to give me a big hug!!

The Fleece Footie Jammies

Last week I purchased Paxton some fleece footie jammies (at a resale store where I have credit…cost me nothing out of pocket, remember I am frugal and believe in dressing my baby on a budget!)

Anyways, they are beyond adorable! He loves these jammies because they have “shoes” (and this child loves his ‘do-es’!)

Looking absolutely snuggable in these jammies!

Now that the nights are getting cooler, I love that he has some warm jammies since he won’t stay covered…he moves around way too much!

And I have to be completely honest, the early morning snuggles in our bed with Paxton is fleece are so cozy!

One Cool Kid

So, I know Paxton is our kid but we think he is the cutest, most adorable and coolest toddler ever! {Little brother has a lot to live up to!!}

He loves rock music, guitars and drums. He wears his shades like one cool dude, he fist bumps and hi fives. He never meets a stranger and loves everybody! And he’s a good sleeper (I think that’s the best!)

We couldn’t resist snapping a few shots of our cool toddler the other day! Shades, a rock star hoodie and chewing on a finger, seriously how much cooler can you get at 17 months?

One stinkin’ cute child!

There’s never ever a dull moment and about 10 ‘he did the cutest thing ever moments’ every single day! I love being a parent!!

If There’s A Will…

While I was at my computer last week, I looked over to see this! Paxton wanted something on the bed so he pulled the suit case out from under the bed and used it to give himself a boost!

My reaction was, ‘you are 16 months old, you should not be able to think logically like this!’ I’ve got my work cut out for me!!

He reached his prize! And after mama snapped the pictures, I moved the stuff further back and tucked the suitcase back under the bed!!

Playing and Feeding Himself

Last Thursday started out with a milestone! As John David was getting ready for work, Paxton said, “bye da!” That was his very first sentence!! We were both very proud of this!

Paxton and I had a nice day, I had gotten most of my housework done earlier in the week so we just spent most of the day playing and reading which is a lovely way to spend a hot summer day! We even went swimming that afternoon!

We played so much in his room that he emptied out his toy tub and the tub then became a toy! I have a feeling this will happen more often!

Playing in the tub! Was it a ship or a car? I don’t know but he’s making “vehicle” noises!

It’s so much fun just watching him play!

We had chili for dinner Thursday night! {I know, it’s 100 degrees outside but chili is so easy to make and it’s yummy! When you add in sour cream it  makes it suitable to eat on a hot day!}

I let Paxton feed himself dinner! He did a great job using his fork and later his hands but he didn’t have food everywhere just all over his face and hands!

Messy faced little boy!

After polishing off his chili, he ate a whole banana! This boy can eat!

Yummy banana!!Look at the little chipmunk! He tends to take bites that are way to big!!

After dinner, Paxton had a nice bath to wash the chili and banana off of him!
