Memories of June

We love visiting the library. Paxton adores reading…he couldn’t wait to get inside to start this book!

Reading another book!

I purchased a juicer at a yard sale for $5 back in May and boy are we enjoying our fresh juice! Paxton loves fresh, frothy orange juice!!

Paxton loves, loves, loves strawberries! We can hardly make it into the house with the berries after we pick them!

Enjoying fresh strawberries on the front porch!

Our sweet little garden helper and our abundant cucumber harvest…we’ve made tons of pickles!

Sweet snuggles with my precious Weston.

I love being his mama so much!

The very same night I rocked Weston to sleep, Paxton was having a hard time getting to sleep. I put Weston down and rocked my big boy (a rare treat for mama…I savor these snuggle moments wit my Pax!)

We love our Ergo…makes outings with two little ones easy!

Sweet boys!

Paxton and daddy!

Chunky, precious baby!

I kiss him no less than 50 times a day! Those cheeks, that forehead, the chubby hands and feet just beg for kisses!

Paxton enjoys the bouncer/rocker…on this day he asked for me to buckle him!

Cheesing toddler!

I love seeing Paxton’s sleep positions! This one is so sweet!

May Miscellaney

I’m finally sitting down to wrap up the month of May here! This post is picture heavy {which is why most of our family visits the site anyways!}

Weston is such a happy baby! He doesn’t like to be left alone at all but as long as he’s being held or somebody is really close to him, he’s happy!

He’s still drooling all the time. I suppose he’s teething {which is what everybody says to the smallest amount of drool…} but my babies start drooling like crazy around 3 months old. {Paxton cut his first tooth around 7 months old.}

In addition to all the drooling, he’s a big bubble blower.

LOVE the baby feet.

With my sweet baby.

Beyond precious! This was the last night he wore this sweet gown so I had to snap pictures. This was one of Paxton’s hand-me-downs and one of the few items that has been tucked away for a possible future baby brother {no baby baking here nor plans for number 3 just yet for those of you who are curious…}

Paxton’s been into watching Arthur on his PBS kids app so we checked out 8 Arthur books from the library. One of the books was titled “Arthur’s Baby.” After seeing the baby being fed a bottle, ¬†Paxton wanted to feed and burp our baby! I put some water in a bottle for him to feed to his brother {I chose water because the one other time I tried this with milk, Paxton stole it and decided to feed himself!!}

Sweet big brother feeding our baby!

Love this shot of my two little ones {and Weston is quickly catching up with his brother size wise!} You can see Weston’s hand on the book “Arthur’s Baby”!

Our little reader. He had a blast picking out books and we’ve been reading and reading and reading! I LOVE reading to the boys and I love having books scattered all over the house…signs of life, love and sweet children!

Getting his barn down…he’s getting to be such a big boy!

Our little farmer!

As he was walking the cow across the room, he was saying ‘moo moo!’ Precious!

He’s telling me I need to take a picture of his animals.

Here’s the picture I snapped of his animals tucked safely in the barn.

He loves feeding and watering his animals and putting them in their pens in the barn.

We celebrated 6 years of marriage on the 27th! The 27th fell on a Sunday so we didn’t make any plans. We spent the afternoon relaxing with the boys, reading and playing with them and then went out to our favorite local pizza place for dinner.

Mimi and Jill came down to visit and watch the boys while John David and I volunteered at a marriage conference on the 29th. Weston had so much fun he just feel asleep sitting up!

Sweet, sweet sleepy babe! This was the first time he did this but he often falls asleep sitting in our laps…something Paxton never, ever did! I love the differences in personalities of our boys!

John David turned 26 on the 31st. It was Thursday which kicks off our weekend services at church so he worked on his birthday and didn’t get home until well after the boys were in bed. We celebrated the next day with lunch out and more family time. {You can tell we keep things simple when it comes to birthdays and anniversaries…no gifts for us just good food!}

Here’s a few of my favorite pictures from the month of April:

Beyond precious. Nothing like a chunky baby boy in nothing but a diaper sucking on his fingers!! LOVE!

He certainly has a good appetite (and rich milk) to maintain this chunkiness!

Paxton sometimes wants to sleep on ‘daddy’s bed’ I let him nap here one afternoon and he enjoyed the extra space. (Also, this is proof of how John David and I end up hugging the sides of the bed when Paxton does sleep with us. That little boy sleeps in the middle and sprawls out!)

Precious little one!

Love the chin!!

We propped Weston up on the pillow and he fell asleep so Paxton had to got get babies and a blanket for him! And then Paxton laid down too and pretended to sleep…complete with fake snoring!

Precious baby snuggled up with his brothers babies!

Love this little bitty man!

Impromptu reading in the kitchen floor during supper prep!

Weston does some reading too these days!

And he does lots of chewing…the boys loves his hands!

Nannie and Pawpaw came for a visit to celebrate Paxton’s birthday!

Sweet little Weston in one of his precious rompers!

Hope you enjoyed these precious pictures of these two sweet boys!

The End of March

Here’s a few favorite pictures from the end of March:

In their brother shirts! We bought Paxton’s when we found out baby number two was on the way and we found Weston’s a few weeks ago!

My boys are full of personality!!

Look at this precious boy!!

We had a mini (and somewhat unsuccessful…it’s hard to photograph two!) photo shoot the day the boys wore their matching rompers!

Sweet boys!! (Little Weston was not up for holding his head up this day!)

I love that this little expression was captured!

A little editing on this precious shot!

Daddy and his boys!

Love! Look at Paxton’s puckered little lips!!

The boys!!

Precious brotherly love!
